Victorian Square

Victorian Square was designed to become northern Nevada’s entertainment, dining and specialty retail destination as well as home to many local celebrations and festivals. This four city block downtown revitalization project is anchored on the south by the Nugget Hotel & Casino, drawing 2 million visitors per year, and by a new 14-screen cineplex on the north. 

The exciting design solution was developed and refined in on-site workshop sessions with the Mayor, City Council, City staff and interested citizens. All aspects of this project relate to a Victorian garden theme with special unique spaces such as the Court of the Rose, Court of Discovery, Fountain Plaza and Avenue of the Oaks, all surrounding the Central Oval Garden.

Interactive water displays, rich paving materials and patterns, shaded seating areas and interactive exhibits add to the dynamic place Victorian Square is to become.
